Fuss and grump session!! :-)

I haven't posted in so long... When I began this, I thought I would have time and inspiration to write every day, but that has not been the case. I am still managing to homeschool, although the lupus has really done a number on me for the past few months. K and I just do what we can, and she has been a trooper. We have done many lessons on my bed - she gathers up her books and pencils and we get busy. As those of you who know me personally already know, I consider us Interest Led Learners/Unschoolers, so using the textbooks is tough for me. So canned and stilted! But I can also see that in our case at this particular point in time, they are serving a purpose. I am so proud of the progress she is making, and the worksheets do help me to document that progress. As anyone who homeschools knows, learning takes place any- and everywhere, and we couldn't stop it even if we tried! I still believe that the most valuable learning experiences are the day-to-day living which we do.

I am trying to find a work-at-home opportunity. If any of you know of a legitimate company, please let me know! I need something which is flexible, and that really delivers on their promises. I've tried some of the survey things, and have never seen a dime from them.
